Short Blurb:The ASDA chapter at NYU College of Dentistry has been working actively to provide a diverse range of opportunities for students in advocacy, organized dentistry, leadership, and education. The goal of our chapter this year is to expand membership and spread awareness of the club’s value. We hope to expand opportunities for students to attend local, district, and national events and provide students with the knowledge and tools to succeed in their fields, but to also contribute to the success of their field. Our hope for the future is to increase engagement with the student body, outside vendors and organization, and our school student activities department so that we may create a valuable and powerful organization for students to join and have resources to succeed in all areas of dentistry. In addition, we hope to increase recognition of students and faculty who demonstrate active membership and leadership within the chapter to not only increase proactive membership, but to also actively recognize students for their hard work.
